Vegetation Management Plans

A Vegetation Management Plan (VMP) is a report that assists the property developer to manage the development site to ensure that existing bushland and vegetation is protected from excessive site disturbance. Council will generally request a VMP on sites with a number of environmental constraints or sites of environmental or ecological significance.  

In order to satisfy Council requirements our VMP’s provide strategies that help to conserve bushland, vegetation and the ecological processes operating on a site.  Our approach is to conserve the natural heritage of the development site by managing and reducing the direct and cumulative impacts of the development.  We do this in collaboration with you, our planning partner to achieve successful outcomes in the most cost effective and timely manner.
